Alessandro wanted to capture the moment when you see a beautiful woman walking down the street and you can’t help but stop for a moment and stare and take in her feminine essence.
This is also inspired by Alessandro’s trips to Africa. Where he discovered a tree called the Munguba Tree that have showy flowers that open like a banana to reveal hairy yellow-pink stamens, these flowers are said to have a scent similar to Tuberose which is known as a very narcotic, seductive flower that is most fragrant at night.
The lid is made of an African wood called Zebrawood and represents that woman are like wild animals and cannot be tamed.
