CITY OF MELBOURNE

Lord Mayor's Small Business Awards

We’re proud to share that our Founding Director, Christine Doughty, was recognised with a 2025 Lord Mayor’s Small Business Achievement Award for over 10 years of business in Melbourne’s CBD.

While Christine first established the business in 1987, this award specifically acknowledges her contribution through our Flinders Lane store, which has become a valued part of the city’s small business community since 2008.

Presented by Lord Mayor Nick Reece and City of Melbourne Councillors on Thursday 2 October, these awards celebrate the people and places that shape the city’s unique identity.

Christine was also featured in the Lord Mayor’s Small Business Awards Photo Exhibition at the front of Melbourne Town Hall, which paid tribute to the faces behind Melbourne’s most enduring small businesses.

We’d like to congratulate Christine on this well-deserved recognition—and also extend our heartfelt thanks to our incredible Store Consultants whose dedication continues to drive the success of our stores.

We now proudly have three locations across Melbourne, as well as our Sydney store in the Queen Victoria Building (QVB).

Pop in, say hello, and thank you for your continued support of small business.
